La nuova campagna video di Ciao

Il pomodoro, e con lui tutta la solarità del Sud, è l’elemento principe della cucina italiana e non solo. Ciao crede che un po’ di Napoli ci stia bene in ogni menu e perciò ha deciso di dedicare la sua campagna video a tutte le specialità in rosso in Italia e nel Mondo.

I nostri eventi ci portano a conoscere le realtà di tutti e 5 i continenti, del resto Ciao è presente in ben 95 paesi. Perciò nel nostro WORLD video tour, racconteremo non solo i nostri viaggi in giro per le fiere e i grandi eventi nel mondo, ma anche come il pomodoro può trasformare la cucina di ogni ristorante anche fuori dallo stivale.

Naturalmente la gastronomia italiana è quella che meglio si presta a raccontare la dolcezza del pomodoro napoletano.
Ogni mese perciò entreremo nelle cucine di tanti ristoranti italiani per vedere farci raccontare come nelle Regioni del Bel Paese si declini la passione tutta italiana per il pomodoro e darvi anche tante ricette e consigli per usare questo ingrediente in maniera tradizionale o innovativa dall’antipasto al dolce.

Opening a preserve tin from Ciao – Il Pomodoro di Napoli is like holding in your hands a thread connecting you to Naples, a postcard that comes directly from the Vesuvius. This is how the new social media initiative ‘Greetings from Naples’ was born.

There is a bit of Naples in anything which is authentic, true, simple, but well done. And thanks to our true tomato you can feel a little bit at home everywhere in the world, or celebrate your Neapoletanity slice simply with a dish.
Meatballs, pizza, pasta, vegetables, fish, meat – many are the traditional recipes that you can prepare with our preserves.

Why not share happy thoughts in this way?

This is how the ‘Greetings from Naples’ initiative was born.
To participate just take a picture with our products and your recipes and post it on Instagram with the hashtags #salutidanapoli and #ciaopomodori.
Every week we will choose one of the greetings received to make it the postcard that we will send to all our friends on Facebook and Instagram, resharing the pictures and the creations in them depicted.

Ciao si prepara al Napoli Pizza Village 2019

Dal 13 al 22 settembre, prenderà il via un nuovo appuntamento con il Caputo Napoli Pizza Village, la più grande vetrina partenopea sul mondo della pizza napoletana. Anche quest’anno Ciao si conferma tra gli sponsor della manifestazione, preparandosi a diventare il pomodoro ufficiale della kermesse e del Campionato Mondiale del Pizzaiolo che decreterà il miglior artigiano dell’arte bianca del 2019.

Mentre si definisce al meglio il calendario di appuntamenti, Ciao continua a dedicarsi instancabile alla produzione 2019, anch’essa protagonista del Napoli Pizza Village di quest’anno con l’iniziativa Ci vediamo al campo che vedrà pizzaioli provenienti da tutti il mondo, ospiti sul “campo” della Compagnia Mercantile d’Oltremare. Un viaggio che parte dagli Stati Uniti, Taiwan, Corea e arriva fino ai campi agronocerini per toccare con mano il pomodoro più buono che ci sia.

Dopotutto, la materia prima d’eccellenza è alla base di una kermesse così importante che vedrà, come ogni anno, impegnate circa 50 pizzerie con oltre 120.000 pizze sfornate.

Ciao and the specialties of Pizzeria Nanà

A story that has the flavor of love, that of Silvio Zingarelli of Pizzeria Nanà: love for his Naples, for the dish that most represents this land and for the values of the past.
Pizzeria Nanà is a young pizzeria. After working lengthy his way up in the historical city center of Naples, Silvio Zingarelli decided to devote himself body and soul to the study of the pizza, and in 2010 he opened his own pizzeria to which he gave the name of his daughter, Nanà!
With the same passion, the pizza artisan of Via Biscardi in Poggioreale tells us about his Napoli Pizza Village.

-What specialties are you going to show on the Lungomare Caracciolo waterfront?
I have chosen two tasty varieties very different between each other: one white and one red, to please everyone! The red one will be the classic pizza Margherita, while the white one will be a novelty with ricotta and provola cheese, enriched with Neapolitan taralli.

-What kind of tomato will you use for your pizza Margherita?
The classic peeled tomato as prescribed according to the TGS pizza specifications.

-Which of the two specialties represents better the spirit of Pizzeria Nanà?
Certainly the pizza Margherita, because when we talk about pizza, the Margherita is the true love of all Neapolitans and my pizzeria has a genuine and popular heart.

-What do you expect from this 2017 edition of Caputo Napoli Pizza Village?
I hope this Pizza Village will be an even more powerful showcase, not only to let us to be known abroad, but also to give light to the neighborhood pizzerias!

Ciao is official sponsor of the Caputo Napoli Pizza Village 2017

From the 17th to the 25th of June, Caputo Napoli Pizza Village will open a big window onto the world of the Neapolitan pizza of excellence. This year too, Ciao will be the official tomato of the event and of the World Pizza Maker Championship, which will declare the best pizza artisan of 2017.

Only a few hours are left before the opening of the pizza village: 9 days of dough and condiments will kick off the summer of great Neapolitan gastronomy by highlighting the great importance that techniques and attention to the quality of the ingredients have for a dish like the Neapolitan pizza, a model followed an imitated everywhere, but with unique features.

Who will be the world champion among the APN pizza makers and what specialties the 50 participating Neapolitan pizzerias will give us on beautiful backdrop of Lungomare Caracciolo to celebrate the most famous world kermesse fully dedicated to the White Art?

We will find out very soon, as only 3 days are left before the official opening of the Caputo Napoli Pizza Village 2017: the ribbon-cutting will be on Saturday, 17th June.

A format unchanged, but with an even more rapid pace and a renewed attention to fried pizza and to the women’s participation to the cream of the crop of the Neapolitan pizza maker association (Associazione Napoletana Pizzaioli – APN)

50 the pizzerias and hundreds the artisans that will come to the pizza stadium on Lungomare Caracciolo from all over the world to participate to the 16th Caputo Trophy.

Of all the 100,000 specialties that are expected to be baked during the 9 days of the event, the official tomato will be the one of Ciao, renewing again the partnership with the world’s most important event dedicated to the pizza of excellence.

We will tell you the art, the competing specialties and the flavors, the colors and the faces of that which in the end is above all a celebration great as the heart of Naples, which welcomes anyone around its popular table made of simple excellence!
